From a general sense of persons gathered together originally for some specific purpose or just to have a good time and taking a side to share, contest or dispute or separate oneself from the others

As also the state of not being subject to or affected by some one else or something undesirable such as government policies or religious dogmas to achieve freedom from want. Being divided in singles, doubles and parts, a group of people gathered together for game in pleasure to have or participate in a party.
